A quick trek up the street with marinated short ribs in hand was all it took to get to dinner last week. Ribs, meet the neighbors' grill. Get to know each other...
Our neighbors have a fantastic house which lends itself easily to entertainment - dinner parties, regular parties, movie nights, hot tub sessions, dog fun etc. We had a little, if I may say, potluck. Jon and I brought up the meat (Korean short ribs), and the neighbors provided the carbs (wild rice) and veggies (zucchini). Jon worked the grill and the aroma of the marinade was enough fuel to get our appetite going like *woah* The zucchini and rice were done in no time, which left us drooling over the ribs to be ready for the table.
After saying, "Cheers!" over sake shots, the top of our forks and tips of our tongues were digging into the Korean ribs. It's safe to say that everyone gave a double thumbs up to Jon's ribs, the star dish of the night :) Well done, babe!
