Brunching out @ Hugo's

Claudia and I clearly weren't the only ones wanting to brunch out to Hugo's on Saturday morning... We had the whole neighborhood [Santa Monica Blvd, WeHo] - and more - dining with us! After a quick 10 minute wait, we were seated inside and ready to tackle the full menu in front of us. Hugo's offers everything and more, but in a healthy, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free kind of way. There are, of course, meat options, but it seems like they go for more of the "healthy lifestyle" concept. Healthy but tasty! Can't complain about that.

I was in an eggs kind of mood, and although Hugo's is most famous for their Pasta Mama & Pasta Papa (fresh pasta scrambled with eggs and other add-ins), I went for an herbed omelette. It was exactly what I wanted; it's kind of hard to go wrong with that. Claudia got a vegetarian entree plate which she seemed to enjoy... If you clean out the plate, it means you enjoyed it, right? I guess Hugo's has been around for decades, so it for sure stands the test of time - a friendly, comfortable neighborhood restaurant. I would love to go back and try more from the menu!
