Boracay Meal #1

Jon whisked me off to Boracay, surprising me with another out-of-town trip once again. (I would have packed better attire if I had known the tropical beach destination beforehand in LA).

Hands down my favorite beach bite in Boracay is Aria. After checking in, we just about leaped into the chairs ready to spit out our order. Gosh, this restaurant is practically a landmark on the island for tourists and locals alike. Located on the beach-front of the white-sand island is this authentic Italian restaurant where the food is consistently delicious and always satisfying. I believe Aria is best known for their traditional wood-oven fired pizza consisting of thin crust, real cheese and various toppings from veggies to meat to seafood. They also have great antipasti, salads, pasta and main course plates to choose from. If my belly promised to stay in bikini condition, I would have tried all the pizzas possible. Sadly, it didn't make that promise so we chose just one: quattro formaggi. We also got the tuna carpaccio to start and a plate of garlic prawns served with rosemary potatoes on the side. Yummy in my tummy.
