We were guests at my Tita Anne's for the trip, and she cooked up a Thai feast for our last night so making dinner reservations to eat out wasn't an option. But that's ok, because at Anne's, we got food cooked from the heart and service with love.

HONG KONG: JASPAS
For a trip that lasted less than 48 hours, surprising my mom in Hong Kong for her birthday was SUCH a blast! Starting our day early in Central, we managed to $hop at Land Mark and Prince's Building while waiting for our lunch dates [Tita Josie, Melanie & Patrick]. After meeting up, we took a brisk walk up hills, streets, stairs and travelators... and eventually reached the SoHo area of HK. I guess you could say we worked up an appetite. We ate at a casual open-front restaurant called Jaspas. Whenever a restaurant has a tall menu, I'm always careful of what I order because I wanna make sure it's gonna be TASTY and done RIGHT :) The place was full, mostly expats, so I assumed Jaspas was a popular lunch spot that has decent food for whatever you're feeling for. Since we were 6 people, we shared a few appetizers and ordered our own main courses. The many photos, posted below.
