C's | Pampanga

My overnight trip to Pampanga [Angeles City] was definitely a highlight of my Holiday '09-'10 vacay in the Philippines. It was my first time to venture out in that direction... Jon does LIV Saturdays at Mansion - a newly opened club in the area- so he has gotten to explore more of what there is do up north. We stayed with a few people at Enclave Villas, a new development in the same area. 3 rooms, 2 couples, 2 ball players and a beautiful single lady - we managed to fit all of us comfortably in the 2-story house :)

Dinner for the night was at C's. Best place ever! C's is an Italian restaurant that has apparently been raved about for a while now - and known to be worth the drive just for a meal up there. I must agree. They are known for their panizza's, ultra-thin rectangular pizzas that are generously topped with a multitude of choices (lots of panizza variations on the menu). The panizzas come with a bowl of arugula leaves and alfalfa sprouts and you are meant to place them on the pizza and roll it up. I thought of it as the sushi version for the Italians. We were quite a big group so we ordered A LOT. In fact, the pasta dishes you see below, we ordered 2 for each side of the table. Another hit was the steak, of which we also ordered 2 plates of. Super tender and juicy, how we like it! I don't know how we survived the food coma, but we did make it to Mansion in full force :)
