Given that Beverly Hills is a walking-friendly oasis and given that another one of our favvoorriitee restaurants is very close by, we all thought, "Why not walk over and get the best of Wolfgang's worlds!" I'm talking about Cut people, a few steps away from Canon Drive over at the prestigious Beverly Wilshire. With the restaurant's white ceilings, light wood flooring and office-inspired chairs and tables, you wouldn't immediately identify it as Wolfgang Puck's premier LA steakhouse, but boy are you wrong. Cut is known for their succulent steaks and accompanying sides, but their desserts deserve a little PR as well. We got 2 souffles and 2 crumbles for the table. The giant, dark chocolate airy souffle is served in a piping hot silver pot with three fun condiments. Served in a deep white bowl is the mixed berry crumble, which blends the taste of berry flavors with brown sugar crumble crust. Our dessert vanished before our very eyes! To really cap the night off, we got a little"dessert for the dessert" when our waiter put out a complementary plate of mini-bar trios; thank you!
Oh, one last thing... Look to see if you can spot which new-age celebrity chef paid a visit :)
