Enter another comfort food type restaurant, Miss B's Tuckshop.
From their website [here] I learned that Miss B's likes to focus on the back-to-basics-approach to food, "producing honest fast food which people can identify with wherein satisfaction is always above and beyond paid value." They categorize their menu as simple food fare influenced by American comfort food, executed with basic French techniques.
Let me break it down real quick before the photos:
3 pros
+they have proper malt vinegar for the fish & chips; such a pet peeve when restaurants only serve tartar sauce without the right vinegar
+grass fed beef; need i say more?
+fun desserts and milkshakes
3 cons
-i found the serving sizes a bit small
-their location; it would be hard to stumble upon this restaurant if you didn't know about it
-wish there was more sandwiches and salads
Lechon Salad
Calamansi Beignet
Yummm, comfort food!! But small servings, you say? Ack, I won't be satisfied then, for sure!
ReplyDeleteoh this is such a cute place- i need to start making a list of all the places i want to try when we come visit- we would be eating every 30 minutes though haha
